Back from vacation, CLS is thrilled to share that we empower our team with our one-year trainee, Oskar Simryd. With a relevant study background in Business Administration, as well as valuable professional experience in Project Management and Banking - CLS could not be happier with having Oskar onboard with us.

Dear member of the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce,
My name is Oskar Simryd and I am glad to announce that I will be joining the Secretary General Roya in the Lisbon office, working as a trainee at CLS for the next twelve months. Below I will give a short introduction of myself and what I will be doing at the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce.
I am 25 years old and grew up in a town called Gävle, in northern Sweden. A town known for having the world’s biggest Christmas Goat made of straw, which happens to be fired up every now and then…. I am a football fanatic and will definitely go to numerous games during my year in Portugal. I prefer to have an active lifestyle, playing all kinds of sports, running, and going on hikes. Let me know if you need an extra player on the padel court!
This summer I graduated from a 4-year education in Business administration specified in Finance & Management at Umeå University. I am thankful and so very excited to start off my career as a graduate at CLS. Previously I have been working as a Project Manager at Junior Achievement and Customer Advisor at Swedbank. This gave me valuable knowledge in finance, networking, and public speaking as well as event-, time- and people management. During my third year at the university, I went for abroad studies in Munich, at Ludwig Maximilian University, which is considered as one of the top universities in Europe. After an inspiring and challenging semester in Germany I went back home with a new life goal: To have an international career.
I am looking forward to learning more about the Swedish-Portuguese relationships and, alongside with Roya, keep working with-, and developing CLS´s business support services. Hence, during the upcoming year I will assist Roya in organizing the recurrent events of CLS and hopefully be in contact with some of you members and partners who wish support in organizing your own events. Last but not least, I will be working with marketing inquiries, and you will hear from me in the newsletters.
I am thrilled to be joining CLS and looking forward to meeting you members, Team Sweden in Portugal and start working with all the exciting projects!
