In a year like no other, CLS is happy to share that we increase our team with Trainee Sofie Jacobsson. Sofie is a Master Student in Political Science and Security, living in Lisbon with vast experience of living in other continentes, networking with various cultures. We give our warmest welcome to Sofie and share her letter to our community.
Dear members of the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce,
My name is Sofie Jacobsson and I have recently started an internship at the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce that will take place during the spring. I am excited to join the team at CLS and look forward to engaging with all members of the network.
I am a Master student in Political Science and Security Studies at the Swedish Defence University in Stockholm. I moved to Lisbon in September and am happy to call Portugal my new home after having spent the last years living in Australia and Bolivia.
I am certain that it will be an interesting and educational challenge to work at CLS. I am looking forward to learning more about how the bilateral relationship between Sweden and Portugal is enhanced by cooperation and trade among stakeholders, and I hope that my background in International Relations and my intercultural experiences will be helpful to the network.
The goal for my internship is to assist in facilitating an effective cooperation during the challenging times that prevail that benefits the members of the CLS community. I also aspire to help find new, creative ways of expanding and integrating cooperation among the network. Additionally, I hope that my Portuguese skills will be cultivated along the way.
I am looking forward to working with all of you in the upcoming months!
