Dear members of the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce,
I’m Sepehr Khanmohammadi, and it is with great excitement that I announce that I will be working as a Trainee for CLS for 12 months, alongside Secretary General Charlotta Mohlén. Let me introduce myself and explain how I will be helping the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce.
I’m 25 years old and grew up in the small town of Sandviken, mostly known for Sandvik and its bandy team. In 2020, I moved to Umeå for a Master of Science in International Business. In my third year, I was in Grenoble, studying at Grenoble École de Management. After one year there, I completed a double degree in Global Management and discovered my interest in languages and international relations. Going back to Umeå in 2023, after an amazing year in France, I kept on pursuing my French, and the Business Development specialization.
Previously, I worked as a Marketing- and Project Management Intern at DeLaval, which provided me with invaluable knowledge on creating marketing campaigns, and being a part of a global project that required communication across various organizations and stakeholders. I’m coming to Portugal after a fresh internship experience with Ericsson in Kista. There, I was responsible for various projects concerning Employer branding. It was exciting to handle projects concerning a concept I was unfamiliar with at first and it was rewarding to contribute to Ericsson’s employer brand.
In my free time, I enjoy sports a lot, especially football! So there is no question that Lisbon is an excellent city for that. I also like practicing other sports such as tennis, running, ping-pong, badminton, and while I’m here, I might start surfing! I can’t wait to start exploring Portugal with its famous cuisine, language, nature, and so much more.
I’m eager to help strengthen Swedish-Portuguese relations by enhancing the CLS network with various activities. Alongside Charlotta, I will assist in organizing frequent events for the CLS and assist any members with matters regarding the CLS. Getting hands-on experience about the role of trade and business in international relations will be very interesting.
It is with great excitement that I am joining the CLS, and I’m eager to meet all of you members, Team Sweden, and starting the great work!
Até breve,
Sepehr Khanmohammadi
