First out was Mario Rocha, Senior Manager at Hays, who presented insights about what to expect in terms of competencies, education, and the "must-knows" in terms of HR aspects in Portugal.
Later we had Hans-Christian Iversen, Coach/Mentor at Iversen & Associates & Strenghtsunleashed, who provided us with the cultural and leadership aspects of expanding a business to Portugal.
To learn more about Portuguese corporate laws and taxes, Teresa Pala Schwalbach joined us. From being a Tax Partner and Head of the Scandinavian Desk at Sérvulo & Associados, Teresa has many years of experience helping international companies establish on the Portuguese market.
Last but not least we had Marcus Nordquist, co-founder and CEO in Portugal at QueensLab, representing the Portuguese startup scene, sharing his experiences of expanding to Portugal from a tech-company point of view.
