Swedish Chambers International (SCI) is an umbrella organization for the many international Swedish Chambers located all over the world. On 13-14th of June, 25 SCI members gathered in Stockholm to share stories, brainstorm, and exchange best practices, and valuable insights operating as foreign chambers.
The SCI days were kickstarted by a company visit at Atlas Copco and Epiroc, where we got insights on some of the factors behind the inspiring success of these two Swedish companies. Part of the visit took place 20 meters below ground, which of course added some extra depth to the interesting presentations.
During our second SCI day, we had the pleasure of attending the impressive launch of the Global Business Climate Survey, a Team Sweden collaboration, followed by the SCI Annual Meeting. The rest of the day consisted of workshops and further mingle to really dig into what we can learn from each other and bring back home to our own networks and organizations.
Some highlights were brought up by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce India who encouraged employees at Swedish companies to collectively walk 8 FULL laps around the world! And a few hours away from India, The Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan SCCJ, constructing an architectural masterpiece, a “House of Sweden,” in Tokyo.
The CLS is grateful to be apart of this inspiring network and look forward to keep exchanging ideas and build stronger international relationships.
