On December 13th, the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CLS) welcomed 70 guests to the beautiful Palácio Fronteira in Lisbon. The palace is private, classified as a national monument, that is still inhabited by descendants of its founders and is – together with its gardens - widely acclaimed.
December 13th Sweden celebrate the tradition; Lúcia.
The traditional Swedish Christmas lunch is set up to be in honor to the Lúcia tradition, as well as the possibility for members and non-members to enjoy a traditional Swedish Julbord (Christmas lunch); including typical fish (herring and salmon), Swedish meatballs and the Swedish liquor snaps. During the lunch the children of the Swedish School in Carcavelos honoured us with a traditional Lucia choir.
CLS would like to extend our warmest thanks to the Embassy of Sweden in Lisbon and IKEA Portugal for their support in organising this years Christmas lunch (Julbord). As well a big thank you to all our members, partners and people we have had the pleasure to work with during 2018.
Happy holidays and we hope to see you in 2019!
