The Swedish Embassy in Lisbon, the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, AstraZeneca, and Diaverum had the pleasure of welcoming members from the Swedish Parliament Committee on Health and Welfare, as well as Swedish and Portuguese prominent health sector stakeholders to a Business Lunch on September 4th.
The Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, together with the Embassy of Sweden in Lisbon, alongside two of the most prominent Swedish-born companies within the health sector, AstraZeneca and Diaverum, had the pleasure of hosting a health sector themed lunch at the Swedish residence.
In conjunction with the visit from members from the Swedish Parliament Committee on Health and Welfare, it was an excellent opportunity for intra country dialogues on health sector matters. The forum aimed for bridging the gap between public and private health sector matters, enabling new- and strengthen bilateral relationships, while sharing knowledge across borders.
During the lunch, we listened to presentations by Rosário Trindade - Corporate Affairs & Market Access Director at AstraZeneca Portugal, and Sofia Correia de Barros – Country Manager Diaverum Portugal. Both presenters made a comparative approach of the best practices, challenges, and opportunities in the health sector in Portugal vs. Sweden.
