Essity is a global hygiene and health company, headquartered in Sweden, Stockholm, dedicated to improving well-being through leading hygiene and health solutions. In the 2nd quarter of 2022, Essity opened a Business Service Center in Lisbon. With a dynamic spirit, they have now outgrown their old office space and their national growth journey continues.
In September, Essity invited CLS and the Swedish Embassy to cut the tape for the inauguration of their new office space in the blooming area of Parque das Nações. The four-floor, bright, and inspiring office space offers a mix of Swedish and Portuguese cultural influences and a stunning view over The Vasco da Gama Bridge, the largest bridge in Europe.
Essity first entered the Portuguese market in the 1960s with Mölnlycke SCA and has been operating in Portugal since 1998. Working closely with main strategic partners such as Mercadona, Aldi, LIDL, and Santander, as well as nursing homes and other healthcare organizations. In just one year, they have now developed their Business Service Center in Portugal into a team consisting of over 200 employees from 19 different nationalities.
Essity´s project to support all of Europe from their branch in Portugal has been following all forecasts.
