Dear members of the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce,
My name is Cristina da Costa Ferreira and I recently began my internship with you, which will take place during the Autumn and Winter of 2021. I am very excited to be joining the team at the Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, and would like to thank its members for this opportunity.
I am a Portuguese national, and a graduate of Leiden University, in the Netherlands, from which I received an MSc in Crisis and Security Management, and I also have a BA in International Relations and Political Science from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. I’ve spent the last few years studying and working abroad, in the Netherlands, Sweden, and Romania. I really enjoyed my time in Sweden, and hope to better my Swedish during the coming months of my internship.
I am very grateful for this opportunity as I know that working at CLS will not only be very interesting, but also teach me a great deal about business and trade. I look forward to learning more about Sweden and Portugal’s bilateral relationship and about the ties between the two communities at a business level.
During this internship, my main objective is to contribute to the CLS team by facilitating collaboration between its members, especially as we enter a period where in person meetings are once again possible, following the events of the 2020 pandemic. I also want to be involved with CLS’ 2021 Sustainability Initiative, which highlights the efforts that Swedish and Portuguese entities have made in incorporating sustainability into their operations. Finally, I aim to contribute with new ideas to further expand the CLS network, and hope that my background and language skills will prove helpful along the way.
I look forward to meeting and collaborating with you over the following months!
Vänliga hälsingar,
Cristina da Costa Ferreira
