After three years of waiting, we were more than delighted to be able to carry out our Traditional Swedish Christmas lunch, this year at the beatiful Casa da Cultura de Cascais. Snapsvisor, julskinka and Lucia performance were some of the key moments during our event.
After a year filled with activities and joy, we had the pleasure to bring back our very appreciated Traditional Swedish Christmas Lunch - Julbord. In a true Swedish Christmas spirit, we offered a typical and delicious Swedish Christmas buffet and enjoyed each other’s company, meeting new and old acquaintances and admired the Lucia songs performed by the children from the Swedish school in Lisbon.
During the lunch, we had the pleasure of understand better the Lucia tradition and highlights from CLS during 2022 presented by our Chairwoman, Jennifer Ekström. Thereafter, the Ambassador of Sweden to Portugal, Elisabeth Eklund shared the 2023 priorities for our trade- and bilateral collaboration as Sweden will take over the EU presidency, entering January.
We would like to thank all the guests joining us from our community, our sponsors who made this magical tradition once again possible and the children from the Swedish school in Lisbon for their heartwarming performance.
With great curiosity and ambition, we are very much looking forward to the upcoming year at CLS.
