On Friday, February 21st, the President of CLS Board of Directors, Jennifer Ekström, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Dean of FCT Nova, Professor Virgilio Cruz Machado on the premises of FCT NOVA University in Caparica. The MoU is a declaration of cooperation between NOVA and the CLS in order to foster greater connectivity between academia and the Swedish-Portuguese business community.
As a step to strengthen CLS relationships, facilitate networking as well as bring new experience to the CLS community, CLS has been working on a framework for cooperation between FCT NOVA and CLS. As our discussions reached a consensus, CLS President together with Secretary-General, Niklas Knutsson and Communication Management Trainee, Sanne Persson visited NOVA FCT facilities in Caparica last Friday, welcomed by the Dean, Vice-Dean and Professors for the cooperation.
Before signing, CLS was invited to assist the "NOVA TECH SHIP - Entrepreneurship" event and get a good understanding of the work FCT NOVA is doing to create both innovators and entrepreneurs within their programs.
