Law graduate with more than 30 years experience from the Swedish Foreign service having worked i a at the Embassy of Sweden in Estonia, as Head of the Nordic-Baltic Section of the EU Department, as Stockholm based Ambassador to Bulgaria and Director for the Diplomatic Training Programme.
Joana, is trained in International Relations (BS) and Environmental Change and Management (MSc, Oxford University). She has over 20 years of experience in the field of sustainability both in government (local, national and EU level) and the non-profit sector.
With focus on understanding how organizations create and manage the connection with sustainable development objectives (or SDGs). Adopting an entrepreneurial learning perspective, he studies in particular the key processes associated with creating a positive impact on society in the management of profitable businesses.
Member of the CLS Board of Directors, Corporate Affairs and Market Access Director at AstraZeneca Portugal as well as President of Fundação AstraZeneca. Holds a Masters in Economics and previous occupations include Reimbursement Director at the HTA Agency, INFARMED.
This talk is the first out of four that the CLS is arranging during 2022 under the Sustainability Initiative- This webinar series aims to share insights and knowledge; to present and discuss strategies for dealing with different challenges faced by governments, organisations and businesses for a more sustainable future.
